Productivity apps that Google announces new generative AI features

Google announced that some of its productivity apps would soon have AI-aided features. However, the company states that, like with its chatbot Bard, these features will only be made available to reputable testers in the United States. However, by the end of the year, all users will have access to the new features.

Google Docs, Gmail, Sheets, and Slides will get these features. Inside Docs, for instance, the point of interaction will carry simple admittance to the computer based intelligence so you can examine, sum up or conceptualize as you compose your piece. In Gmail, the AI can write an entire email from brief bullet points that provide context. In addition, Slides allows you to rapidly generate images, audio, and video for improved presentation.

Some of the features that will soon be available to all Google users have been highlighted by Google.

Use the AI to assist you with a draft based on a specific topic, summarize long-chain emails to save time, proofread or even rewrite your document, brainstorm, write, and rewrite in Docs; bring your creative vision to life with auto-generated images, audio, and video in Slides; go from raw data to insights and analysis via auto-completion, formula generation, and contextual categorization in Sheets; create new backgrounds and capture notes in Meet; enable workflows for getting things done
